Happy New Year!!!!
This last weekend we went to Mt. Pleasant and got to spend some QT with some of the Sargeant side. We got together to give a family quilt us grand-kids had put together to Grandma S. . I don't think we could have asked for a better reaction. She absolutely cherished it! It was worth every stitch! We love you Grandma!
While there we also took advantage of the nearly 2 ft. of snow and had fun playing with the Anderson cousins, 2 crazy brothers (my dad and Uncle Jeff), some of the BC Sargeants, the 4 wheeler, a couple snow mobiles and our dogs. Dog sledding was a hit on New Year's Eve and we pushed those dogs until they finally just sat by the sled and stayed unwilling to chase anything. They dogs loved it....the snow, the kids, the freedom and space to run....everything!
On New Year's Day we got all geared up for a second run with the dogs and guess what happened....yep I get taken down! :) I started running with them to pull James on a sled and Callick decided he wanted to got on the right side of me instead of stay to the left side with Midnight. I tried to stop him but at a full run he speed on as my left leg jolted to the left by the leash and POP!....there goes an ankle. Luckily nothing was torn or broken and with icing it immediately, swelling hasn't been bad. But, yep....a nice lovely sprained ankle....from dog sledding. I'm claiming I ran the Iditarod. ;)
Hope everyone has a wonderful new year!!!!!
